Often at the ARLGP we receive animals in pairs, who are bonded with their partner. Sometimes they are siblings; others have lived together in the same home for a significant amount of time. Our goal at the ARLGP is to re-home the bonded pairs together, as they are often dependent on one another. Currently, the shelter has 6 feline pairs, with 4 more pairs expected to come in over the next two weeks. We also have Sam and Gabby, our adorable beagle/min-pin duo.
What is the benefit of adopting a pair? Double to affection, fun and frolic! Of course, it is also important to be aware that two animals require more food and supplies, as well as vet visits and medical needs.
If you are looking for a dynamic duo to add to your family, consider one of our bonded pairs currently available. Learn more about adopting a bonded pair by calling the ARLGP at (207) 854-9771. Better yet, come on in and meet one- you won’t regret it!
