Happy Adopt-a-Shelter-Dog Month!

Tasha is looking for a great new home!

October is National Adopt-a-Shelter-Dog Month, and we couldn’t be more excited about it!

Each year the ARLGP provides care and shelter to over 1,000 dogs of varying ages, size, breed and circumstance. Our #1 goal at the ARLGP is to retrain, rehabilitate and rehome our guests into responsible and loving homes as quickly as possible. If you have been thinking about introducing a new canine into your home, we hope you’ll take the opportunity this month to visit the ARLGP and meet some of our tail-wagging pups.

We’ll be featuring in-depth profiles on our adoptable dogs all month long! Each canine adopted during Adopt-a-Shelter-Dog Month will go home with a care package and birth certificate, marking their new beginning with their new family. We’ll be sure to snap photos to celebrate these happy adoptions, and share them along the way.

We’ll also be throwing a Canine Spook-Tacular Halloween bash at the Maine Mall Sephora to celebrate the holiday with our canines in tow. Learn more about our Halloween Spook-Tacular and register today!

We hope you’ll participate and make October a barking success! Share your favorite pup photos and adoption success stories with us on facebook, twitter and Instagram and tag it #ARLGPoctober!

To view all adoptable dogs at the ARLGP visit our website, or better yet, stop by and say hello!
If adoption this October isn’t an option, consider making a donation to our treatment and care fund, or learn more about donating your time as a volunteer at the ARLGP.
