Puppy Adoption Event at The Animal House!

puppy2_edtDid someone say… puppies!?

We are thrilled to be heading over to The Animal House on Saturday, June 27th, from 11am-1pm with adoptable puppies!

The Animal House is a family-owned pet supply store in the Kohl’s Plaza in Westbrook. Open since last fall, The Animal House has held several fundraisers and donations drives for the ARLGP. We love having them in our neighborhood and in our Westbrook community of pet lovers!

On Saturday, we will bring the fun to them with 4 puppies for an adoption event!  These adorable balls of fur are approximately 8-weeks-old and are likely hound mixes. If you have been looking to introduce a new, young pup into your family, this is a wonderful opportunity to meet some great dogs.

puppy1_edtIt’s important to note that adopting a puppy requires patience, dedication and flexibility. Puppies need potty training, obedience training, socialization and lots of outlets for physical and mental enrichment. We will have adoption counselors on-hand to discuss the joys of puppyhood and what their needs will be as they grow into adult canine companions.

As always, adoptions are first-come, first-served, and require our normal adoption application process. You may download and print an adoption application to bring with you, or you may fill one out at The Animal House on Saturday.

If you are interested in adopting one of our puppies Saturday, please stop by the event. All dogs will be in foster care until the event, and are not available to be seen prior to. Unfortunately, we cannot place animals on hold for adoption.

A big PAWS UP to The Animal House for having us! Head over to their facebook page and learn all about the paw-someness of their store!
